What it is

Gembao is a retro platform game with pixel art and chiptune music. Bao is a small panda with a blue scarf. In each stage, Bao collects the gems and then goes through the door to the next stage.

The game has 5 worlds with 10 stages in each world. Each world adds a new idea: the jetpack, ladders and vines, keys and gates, platforms that move, and dark caves where only the torch of Bao gives light. Each world is more difficult than the world before it.

Each stage has 3 stars: finish the stage, find the bonus gem and finish before the target time. You have a maximum of 5 lives, and you get 1 life back every 30 minutes. Optional videos give help when you need it. They can also give Bao a new scarf colour.
